Caldwell Acquires Six Outlets in Northeastern Arkansas

Bobby D. Caldwell Revocable Trust has agreed to acquire six stations in Northeastern Arkansas from Harold Sudbury for $1.1 million. Included in the deal are Hip Hop KAMJ (K-Jam 93.9), KQXF (107.3), KHLS (Thunder Country 96.3) in Blytheville along with KOKR (96.7) in Newport, KOSE (860) in Wilson and KNBY (1280) in Newport. Caldwell currently owns 29 stations across Arkansas.
Sudbury plans to retain Newport Broadcasting Company's KHPA (104.9) and KXAR (1490) in Hope AR.
