Hurricane Shane Exits WZEW (92 ZEW)/Mobile as PD


Michael Schoenherr (aka Hurricane Shane) exits as Program Director and morning host at AAA WZEW-FM (92 ZEW)/Mobile over budget cuts. He joined the station in February, 2012, from Birmingham where he was a longtime fixture as PD/afternoon drive of WBPT-FM (106.9 The Eagle). Before joining WBPT in November, 2004, he served in similar duties for WANZ-FM (Z100.5)/Tuscaloosa and Assistant PD at WRAX-FM/Birmingham. Prior to Birmingham, Shane was PD of WAVF-FM (96 Wave)/Charleston, SC.

Concurrently, night talent Emily Hayes exits WZEW and is replaced by Tony Placynski.
