WDAF (106.5 The Wolf)/Kansas City Up Allen to MD

Country WDAF-FM (106.5 The Wolf)/Kansas City morning co-host Codie Allen is stepping up to Music Director, a newly created position, effective immediately. She adds these new duties to her current role as the morning co-host with Roger Carson. The duo teamed a year ago when Allen was elevated from parttime duties. Previously, she served as morning co-host on crosstown KBEQ-FM until 2007.

Program Director Wes Poe said, "It's nice to be able to reward hard work with more work. Just kidding. Kinda.. Codie truly loves country music and the country lifestyle. She's been working towards this goal since she came back full time over a year ago and deserves the opportunity. I know she will represent The Wolf in a stellar way to Nashville and the artist community."
