Yahoo! Sports Radio's Ketchum Adds KTXX/Austin

Yahoo! Sports Radio announces that "Hit 'Em Up Geof" hosted by Geoff Ketchum adds KTXX-FM (104.9 The Horn)/Austin from 1-3pm as part of an all new lineup beginning May 5. Ketchum is the owner/publisher of Orangebloods.com. He's covered Texas Longhorn athletics for nearly two decades. After successful stints locally in television and radio, Ketchum joined Yahoo! Sports Radio in 2012.

"Austin has been my home for nearly 30 years and I can tell you that personally it means a lot," said Ketchum. "The fact that we are now able to bring Yahoo! Sports radio to one of the most vibrant cities in the world, while doing so in a partnership with a station that I have invested so much sweat equity over the years is very rewarding. You can, in fact, go home again."

"As the only locally owned radio group in the Austin market we are committed to providing a product to our listeners that is focused on the teams and sports that matter to Central Texas," added Bob Cole, one of the principal owners of 104.9 The Horn. "Geoff will be a great addition to the lineup."

"Geoff's been tremendous for the network," said Yahoo! Sports Radio COO/PD Craig Larson. "He'll fit in perfectly at 104.9 The Horn but, his show is also rapidly expanding nationally."
