Buddy Baron to Retire from Radio After 45 Years

Veteran air personality Buddy Baron is retiring from radio after 45 years, effective September 26. He's handled morning drive on Country WBBN-FM (B95)/Laurel-Hattiesburg, MS, for the past 14 years. His previous stints include stops at WQXI/Atlanta, WSAI and WWNK/Cincinnati, KEZY/Anaheim, KIMN-FM/Denver, KOPA/Phoenix, KVIL-FM/Dallas, KKHT-FM/Houston and KFRC, KSAN and KYCY-FM/San Francisco.
Concurrently, longtime morning co-host and 18-year station vet Allyson Scott will exit for a position outside of radio. With the moves, B95 midday host Joe McCool moves up to mornings.
