Alpha Media Portland, OR, has announced that northwest edition of "The Lars Larson Show" has been picked up by Sinclair Broadcast Group's Seattle radio outlet KVI-AM (Talk Radio 570) through Alpha Media's Radio Northwest Network. The show will air weekdays 12-3pm PT beginning July 20. Talk Radio 570 KVI will also continue to carry Lars' nationally syndicated show Monday-Friday, 6p-9p Pacific.

Alpha Media Executive VP/Programming Scott Mahalick commented, "The Lars Larson Show embodies the conservative values of the Northwest and the nation. Adding KVI gives the additional mouthpiece for the Seattle listeners to be heard more prominently through the Radio Northwest Network of stations. It's an honor to have the heritage KVI call letters as part of the rapidly growing Radio Northwest Network."

KVI PD Rick Van Cise added, "We're excited to bring Lars Larson's northwest edition to America's pioneer conservative radio station! Lars has been a big part of KVI's programming with his daily national show and frequent morning fillins. Adding the northwest show is another way we're boosting KVI's commitment to covering local and regional issues with news and views you can't get anywhere else."

With the addition of Seattle, Lars' northwest show airs on 18 stations in the Pacific Northwest through the Radio Northwest Network.
