HeartMedia's News/Talk KFI-AM/Los Angeles taps Gary Hoffmann and Shannon Farren for its midday lineup, effective immediately. Gary and Shannon will air weekdays from 1-3pm. For more than 11 years, Hoffmann previously served as the news anchor for "The Bill Handel Morning Show." Hoffmann was also the host of the "Wake Up Call," heard weekdays from 5-6am.

Farren has been a reporter for KFI for the past 10 years and for the past four years she has been at the helm of the afternoon drive anchor desk for "The John and Ken Show." Farren has also hosted "Sunday Mornings with Shannon" show every Sunday from 6-8am.

"These two have been shining brightly since they came to KFI as reporters and I'm so excited to see them combine their smarts and humor into one big ball of show," said KFI PD Robin Bertolucci.
