; Cumulus Media Fort Walton Beach-Destin, FL, announces the launch of a new morning show on 99ROCK/WKSM, "The New Morning Movement With Misti and Gonzo." The program will debut on November 16, 2015, and will air weekdays from 6:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.

Misti, returns to her native Florida after a 20-year radio broadcasting career in markets across the U.S., including: Anchorage, Alaska; Daytona Beach, Florida; Flagstaff, Arizona; Fort Wayne, Indiana; Bloomington, Indiana; Lexington, Kentucky; Bowling Green, Kentucky; and Nashville, Tennessee.

Gonzo, an Okaloosa County native, began his broadcasting career at WKSM in 1996, and from there, programmed stations in Knoxville, TN (94.3 The X/WNFZ), and in Tallahassee, FL (X-101.5/WXSR). Most recently, he was afternoon drive personality at WZLB in Fort Walton Beach.

Hayden Green, Operations Manager for Cumulus Fort Walton Beach-Destin said, "This is a homecoming for Gonzo, who got his start on WKSM many years ago. He brings a lot of experience and a lot of talent back to the Emerald Coast. Misti comes from the big leagues and has a passion for both the industry and the music. We're ready to rock!"

Woofy Ramone, Program Director for 99ROCK/WKSM said, "We're all excited to have Misti and Gonzo join our team at 99ROCK. They both understand the importance of being "real" on the air, and they both live the "Rock lifestyle". Misti and Gonzo bring a great wealth of experience to help continue our station's success. I look forward to many entertaining years to come."

Misti said, "I'm so excited to ROCK the Emerald Coast with Gonzo each morning! The whole team has been so welcoming to me, and I can't wait to meet all of our awesome listeners! I love the format, how promotionally active the station is-- and living within walking distance of dolphins, Rum, and a flip-flop emporium doesn't suck!"

Gonzo said, "In 1996, two men had faith in a young guy who was still sporting a blue corduroy FFA jacket but wanted to be in radio, and they took a chance on me. Almost 20 years later, after programming some unbelievable radio stations along the way, it's an honor to come home to the radio station where I began my career. I'm extremely grateful to Woofy Ramone, Hayden Green, and the entire Cumulus team for this opportunity. I am excited about the future of the station, and the future of the Morning Movement program."
