Jake Sommers Joins WCIC-FM/Peoria for Afternoons


New Life Media Christian CHR WCIC-FM/Peoria, IL, adds Jake Sommers to its on-air team, beginning April 4. He'll co-host afternoons with Suzanne Happs, while overseeing production and imaging. Sommers' previous career in Christian radio includes KTIS-FM/Minneapolis and WCVO-FM (The River)/Columbus. Most recently, Sommers was with the Florida-based Christian FM Network.

Station Manager Dave Brooks said, "Jake is a pro. He brings a lot of heart to his work and will connect deeply with WCIC listeners. In addition to great radio chemistry, he and Suzanne will have a natural way of bringing faith into the stuff of everyday life. We're thrilled Jake is joining our team."
