Classix 102.9 Atlanta adds Niecey Shaw to the line-up, weekdays from 10am-3pm. She began her radio career in 2001 on crosstown WSB as overnight traffic anchor, as well as for Sirius Radio in Atlanta and Orlando. Shaw previously co-hosted morning and afternoon shows as a traffic anchor for KISS 104.1 (Tom Joyner), WPZE (Sports Radio 790 The Zone) (Mayhem in the AM & 2 Stews) and former WJZZ with Greg Fitzgerald & Rene Miller. Shaw was the first in the market to wear both hats of traffic anchor and air talent in the same daypart on V-103.
"She is a great local fit between two of the most influential shows in the country, The Tom Joyner Morning Show and The DL Hughley show in the afternoons" said Regional VP/GM Tim Davies.
"We are so excited to welcome Niecey Shaw to Classix 1029. She has the experience and professionalism to reach our targeted Demo. Niecey is a great addition to the Radio One family and we are happy to have her," shared Classix 102.9 PD Erwin Hill.
