Ray Koob Returns to Philadelphia Airwaves on WOGL

Veteran radio personality Ray Koob returns to Philadelphia airwaves He'll nights from 7-midnight on a parttime basis (Monday-Tuesday) on Entercom Classic Hits WOGL-FM. Koob previously held similar duties at Beasley's crosstown Classic Rock WMGK-FM for 16 years. He started his career as an intern at WMMR's Morning Zoo in the 1980s.
Koob made the announcement to fans on his Facebook page. "I just want to say how moved and loved I have felt by the support all of you have shown me during the last few weeks," he wrote. "Philadelphia is absolutely 'The City That Loves You Back.'"
"It's exciting to be back on the airwaves of my hometown," Koob told the Inquirer in a phone interview. "I just want to thank the team here at WOGL for making me feel right at home."
