KS95's Moon to Step Down from PM Drive in Fight Against MS

KSTP KS95/Twin Cities long-time afternoon drive host Moon, from the Moon & Staci Show, has announced his plans to step down from the show and his 45-year radio career this fall to focus on health issues. In 2005 Moon was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and has decided he needs to concentrate on his health concerns fulltime.

Moon has been with KS95 for the past 17 years and helped create an amazing franchise in afternoon drive. Not only has Moon been a tremendous on-air talent with a never-ending passion for radio, he and Staci have dominated afternoon ratings in the Twin Cities for nearly two decades. This was obviously a very hard decision for him to make.

"We will all miss Moon's incredible sense of humor and the fun he brings to the air and in the hallways," said KS95 Program Director, Leighton Peck. Moon will officially retire from radio in early October. His longtime radio partner Staci Matthews will remain in place and KS95 will begin the monumental task to find his replacement.

Radio Online wishes Moon the very best in his fight against M.S. and also offers our congratulations for an incredible and exemplary 45-year career.
