Sports KNBR-AM/San Francisco adds two new shows to its weekday lineup. Beginning Tuesday, July 16, "Papa & Lund" with Greg Papa and John Lund will air weekdays from 10am-2pm PT, marking the return of Greg Papa to the KNBR airwaves via a multi-year deal. Papa previously hosted his own show on KNBR from 2001-2003. Lund previously worked with Papa for five years.

Upon joining the 49ers earlier this year, Papa became the first Bay Area broadcaster to have a role with five of the region's major professional teams. He previously served as the voice of the Warriors (radio and TV from 1986-97), Giants (radio and TV from 2004-08), Oakland A's (TV from 1990-2003) and Oakland Raiders (radio from 1997-2017). Papa currently hosts NBC Sports Bay Area's San Francisco Giants and Golden State Warriors Pre-game Live and Post-game Live shows.

KNBR also announced that "Tolbert, Krueger & Brooks" will debut as a weekday afternoon show from 2-6pm PT beginning July 16. The show features Tom Tolbert, Larry Krueger and Rod Brooks, popular air personalities that have been part of the station for a combined total of 67 years.

As part of the changes to KNBR 680AM's weekday programming lineup, "The Mark Willard Show" has been extended from three hours to four hours, now airing from 6-10pm PT, weekdays. Longtime personality Gary Radnich, who joined KNBR in 1992, will be leaving the station concurrent with the launch of the new on-air schedule.

With the changes to the KNBR 680AM lineup, the station also announces the departure of Bob Fitzgerald, who had served as a host for the station since 1990. Fitzgerald will continue to serve as the Warriors' play-by-play voice on NBC Sports Bay Area and as voice of U.S. Men's Olympic Basketball during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
