KATC-FM/Colorado Springs Names Raj Sharan to Afternoons

Raj Sharan

Raj Sharan is named afternoon personality for KATC-FM (Cat Country 95.1) in Colorado Springs. He'll also serve as Promotions Director for the Cumulus Country outlet. Sharan was previously Program Director for KKFN (104.3 The Fan) and KEPN (ESPN 1600) in Denver. He also did play-by-play radio broadcasts for the University of Denver Men's Basketball games and was Assistant PD, On-Air Host, Executive Producer, and NBA Beat Writer for ESPN in Denver.

KATC-FM Program Director Mason Stanfield said, "Raj Sharan's incredible radio experience, paired with his expertise in digital and social media, make him an incredible asset to Cat Country. We are thrilled to welcome him aboard."

Sharan commented, "It's an honor to join the remarkable Cumulus team and work with the talented members of the Cat Country brand. I've made Colorado Springs my home for nearly 12 years and am excited to become even more involved in the Southern Colorado community."
