KLOS-FM/Los Angeles afternoon hosts Kevin Ryder and Doug "Sluggo" Roberts are out reports Variety. The decision to eliminate the afternoon duo comes as Meruelo Media is making cuts at all four of it L.A. stations, including KPWR-FM (Power 106), KDAY-FM and KLLI-FM (Cali 93.9). Ryder and Roberts launched as "Kevin & Sluggo" on KLOS in 2021, a year after Entercom's KROQ ousted Ryder's morning show "Kevin in the Morning with Allie & Jensen," which successed "Kevin & Bean." Before that, Sluggo handled afternoons on KLOS since 2019.
