Liquid Compass, a streaming delivery network for radio broadcasters, is launching its new LC Pro Flash media player with the company's affiliates in Charlotte, Atlanta and San Antonio. With the release, Liquid Compass says this new player ties together the broadcaster's web, mobile, live/on-demand video streaming initiatives.
Using the new Flash player, listeners to stations on the Liquid Compass Streaming Network will now have the ability to sort through videos, last played songs, search through other stations or side channels on their group/network, send the station's stream to their mobile devices and view the station's home page.
The player incorporates both AirKast, TuneKast ando Media Targeted Ad Injector ad insertion technology as a fully-integrated mobile media platform. Using this platform, Liquid Compass says radio stations can reach their listeners on the move and better define where their ad content will be distributed -- on mobile devices, desktop media player or both.
"Our goal with this player is to provide an intuitive streaming experience that allows listeners to access their favorite stations anywhere they want, while giving radio stations a mechanism to transform their digital revenue potential," said Liquid Compass CEO Zackary Lewis.
