Jammin' Z90.3 announced today a new line up of on-air talent, including the addition of "Chunky" for the morning 5:00 - 10:00am slot. Chunky starts September 4 and will be joined by co-host Tati, who has hosted mornings on Z90 for the past four years, and producer "Porkchop." Chunky comes most recently from WXRK "92.3 Now FM," in New York, where he hosted nights for the past three years.
"I'm more than humbled and excited to start my next journey in paradise here in San Diego, doing mornings on the legendary Jammin' Z90!" says Chunky. Other current Jammin' Z90 jocks will be shuffled around with the new roster, the lineup as follows: 5:00 to 10:00 A.M.: Chunky, Tati & Porkchop; 10:00 A.M. to Noon: Tati; Noon to 6:00 P.M.; Tre, featuring, "The 90-Minute Non-Stop Workout," with DJ Mission, and DJ Al with the "5 o'clock Traffic Jam"; 6:00 P.M. to Midnight: Raymond on the Radio; Midnight to 5:00 A.M.: Pandar.
"Not only am I happy that the Chunkster is here, but I am just as pleased that we were able to promote from within," says Jammin' Z90 Program Director R Dub. "Long-time Z90 fixture Tre moves up to afternoons, doing damage on the radio every day with DJs Al and Mission, mixing at both Noon and 5:00 P.M. Then there's Raymond on the Radio, who's been working his butt of as part/time utility player. He steps into the evening spotlight and is ready to set the San Diego airwaves on fire!"
