Wilks Broadcasting Classic Rock WLVQ-FM (QFM 96)/Columbus, OH, Assistant PD Todd Bradley (aka Mongo) is elevated to Program Director. He succeeds Sue Leighton, who remains as QFM's midday personality. Bradley also adds Operations Manager duties for the Wilks cluster there, including Classic Country WHOK-FM (K107.1) and Sports WZOH-FM (95.5 The Game).
Executive VP/Programming Jeff Sanders said, "In Mongo's short period of time with WLVQ, his passion and creativity, his ability to win people over and manage a veteran staff, and his previous programming experience all make him an obvious choice to help continue WLVQ's ratings success."
Bradley added, "This is an amazing opportunity. I couldn't be more pleased to be working with some of the brightest, most talented people in the business, here at Wilks Broadcasting. They are leaders in the industry, and I look forward to helping pursue that vision."
In addition to middays, Leighton moves into Promotions to oversee and help develop a new Promotions Department and strategy. "I'm Very excited for this new and exciting opportunity to build and expand the promotions department at QFM96. Radio is faced with so many unique challenges today. Getting your product...your message...and your brand...to stand out in the vast and ever changing world of radio can be a daunting task."
