Az Lotus Corp La Caliente Marketing Director Retires

Arizona Lotus Corp. La Caliente/Tucson Marketing Director Carlos Gonzales is retiring after 30-year tenure in the radio industry. He's been working in broadcasting since 1984, when started at KTUC, and then joined KRQQ and KNST in 1986. He's been with Lotus since they acquired KTZN in 1993. Over the years, he's handled American host duties for the Mexican National Soccer team, and been instrumental in setting records with St Jude's Hospital fund raising at KCMT.

"Leaving Lotus is a bittersweet decision... sweet to sit home and watch the grass grow. I have earned that... bitter to leave people I have admired and worked with. The many people who have touched my life and the people whose lives I have touched through the goodwill that Lotus offers through public service," said Gonzales.

General Manager Ken Kwilosz commented, "We are fortunate to have had Carlos work with our company for over 30 years. It's not often that we get to have someone retire from our business. Carlos' dedication and experience have been a big help to our team. We wish Carlos the best in his retirement."
