Kim Bryant Promoted to EVP for Westwood One

Westwood One promotes Cumulus/New York Market Manager and 25-year industry vet Kim Bryant to Executive VP/West Coast Sales, effective immediately. In this newly-created role, Bryant will oversee west coast sales operations across Westwood One, including network sales, spot sales, platform, digital and events. She'll be based in Los Angeles and report directly to Westwood One President Steve Shaw. An announcement is expected soon to fill the vacant Cumulus/New York Market Manager post.

This is a homecoming for Bryant, who was Regional VP/Western Ad Sales for Westwood One from 2009-2011. Prior to joining Cumulus two years ago, she served as Executive VP/Marketing and Sales for international cable channel CineMoi. She also served as President/Market Manager of San Francisco for Clear Channel.

"Kim is a superb seller and a born leader," said Westwood One President Steve Shaw. "She will enhance the quality of our leadership team as we build the industry's foremost sales organization.

Bryant added, "The opportunity to get back to the west coast and to work with Steve Shaw and Westwood One again is a dream. The NY Cumulus experience -- including the people I have worked with over the last few years--has been terrific; a real once-in-a lifetime opportunity. I am thrilled to continue to work for Cumulus in this different capacity and I look forward to having and building success in the West."
