Univision Local Media/Houston will begin a live simulcast of syndicated "The Raul Brindis Show" (El Show de Raul Brindis) across UniMas stations in Texas starting April 6. The launch is a part of the company's recent expansion in the state where it will also begin airing a regional morning newscast serving the Hispanic community in Texas. Hosted by Brindis, the show will air from 6-7am on weekdays.

"El Show de Raul Brindis" is hosted by veteran Hispanic radio personality Raul Brindis and is currently the number one morning show in Houston and in the Lower Rio Grande Valley regardless of language. It's also number one Spanish-language morning show in San Antonio, the three Univision markets in which the show currently airs. The show is also syndicated to eight affiliates across the U.S.

"Raul Brindis is a household name within the Hispanic community in Texas and we are pleased to expand the show's reach to give UniMas viewers the chance to experience one of their favorite radio personalities, right on their TV screens," said Univision Local Media President Kevin Cuddihy. "This is part of our commitment to offer the best content from across our platforms that we know is culturally relevant and will resonate with our audiences."
