Thomas to Host RTDNF First Amendment Awards

The Radio Television Digital News Foundation (RTDNF) has announced Pierre Thomas of ABC News will host the 2016 First Amendment Awards Dinner and Show. "Pierre Thomas delighted the audience when he accepted our Association's John F. Hogan Distinguished Service Award last fall," said RTDNF Chair Amy Tardif. "We will be thrilled to have him back at the podium to serve as our master of ceremonies this spring, as we honor our award recipients and support the Foundation's work for the First Amendment."
The honorees include:
- Jason Rezaian, Washington Post - First Amendment Award Cami McCormick, CBS News - Leonard Zeidenberg First Amendment Award Robert Garcia, National Public Radio - First Amendment Service Award Rich Boehne, E.W. Scripps Co. - First Amendment Leadership Award Tim Tai, University of Missouri - First Amendment Defender Award Tom Brokaw, NBC News - RTDNF Lifetime Achievement Award
