Willobee to Exit Shamrock/Reno as Dir./Broadcast Ops


Shamrock Communications/Reno, NV, Director of Broadcast Operations Willobee will exit December 2 after his position was eliminated. Willobee joined Shamrock seven years ago as OM/PD at Classic Rock WEZX-FM (Rock 107) and launched Alternative WFUZ-FM (Fuzz 92.1). He moved to Reno five years ago to launch five new brands Alternative KRZQ, CHR KWNZ-FM (POP FM), Rock KZTI-FM (Z105.3), News/Talk KNEZ (K-News) and Martini Radio.

Prior to that, Willobee was OM/PD of Northshire Alternative WEQX-FM/Albany, NY, for five years. In addition to his radio career, Willobee spent many years in artist management working with Korn, General Public, Phunk Junkeez, Tuck & Patti and more.
