Cumulus Media appoints Andy Winford as Program Director of KATM-FM (KAT Country)/Modesto-Stockton, CA. Winford joins the company from Townsquare Media/Yakima, WA, where he was Brand Manager of KIT-AM and KATS-FM. Prior to that, he served as Brand Manager for Townsquare Media's station group in Billings, MT. Winford previously held programming positions at KHBN-FM (91.7 The Bounce)/Edmonton Alberta and KKBZ-FM & KHIT-FM/Fresno.

VP/Market Manager Bob Berger said, "KAT Country has been a great radio station for nearly 25 years. What makes it great is the people that have been and are a part of it today. Andy Winford will bring us fresh ears and ideas, and I know that he will work to support the great talent we have in place. I am excited to see KAT Country's growth in serving our community in the coming years."

Operations Manager Richard Perry added, "KAT Country has a long history of ratings dominance, but has only been led by a handful of PD's. All of them did great things here. I look forward to Andy adding his name to the short list of PD's who have made KAT Country special."

Winford said, "I want to thank VP/Market Manager Bob Berger and Operations Manager Richard Perry for giving me the opportunity to be the leader of one of America's truly great radio stations as evidenced by its previous CMA and ACM Station of the Year Awards. I'm truly humbled and I can't wait to start collaborating with the fantastic talent that's ruled over Modesto-Stockton for the last decade and become part of KAT Country 103's rich history."

Winford has also previously served as Director of FM Programming for iHeartMedia/Clear Channel in San Luis Obispo and Program Director of KURQ and KSTT in Modesto.
