KFMB-FM/San Diego names Robin Roth as APD

Rock KFMB-FM San Diego names Robin Roth as Assistant Program Director. In addition to assisting PD Mike V. Vasquez, she will host the night show. Roth, a 25-year radio vet, began her career at XHRM-FM and worked there for two years. She then moved on to Alternative XTRA-FM (91X) for 18 years, followed by Active Rock KIOZ-FM (Rock 105.3) for three years, then back to 91X for six years, four of those as Music Director. She is currently an air personality at KFMB-FM.

Vasquez stated, "Robin Roth is synonymous with rock and roll in San Diego and having her on our programming team on a full-time basis is going to make us stronger. She brings talent, knowledge and the will to do whatever it takes to win and I'm so thrilled to have her."

Roth added, "I'm really excited about this new chapter in my career and am looking forward to working more closely with Mike V and the rest of the KFM-BFM radio family."
