Clay Travis Joins Sports Talk 1040 The Team

Genesis Communications' Sports/Talk WHBO-AM (1040 The Team) Tampa and Sports Talk Florida add multimedia sports personality Clay Travis to its weekday morning lineup. Beginning Monday, July 24, "Outkick The Coverage with Clay Travis" will air weekdays from 9am-noon ET. The FOX Sports Radio program features Travis' commentary on the latest sports headlines, as well as pop culture commentary, interviews and listener interaction. He's also a FS1 college football analyst and founder of OutKickTheCoverage.com can. Before FSR, Travis hosted afternoons at Cumulus Sports WGFX-FM (104.5 The Zone) Nashville.

"I appreciate Tampa, Florida becoming the latest building block in Outkick's continuing quest for world domination," said Travis. "We're excited to get started there."

"When we got the opportunity to add Clay and Outkick The Coverage to our lineup, we felt it was an amazing fit for the style of programming we are bringing to the market," added Genesis Communications Director of Content Steve Kyler. "Clay is edgy, hip and very much a football guy, which is great for our market."
