CBS Sports Radio will debut its new morning show, "Taz and the Moose," on Tuesday, January 2 from 6-9am ET. The three-hour block will be anchored by pro wrestling world heavyweight champion and podcast host Taz (Pete Senerchia) and CBS Sports Radio talent and TV host Marc "The Moose" Malusis. Taz and the Moose replaces Gio and Jones.
"We're extremely excited for the debut of Taz and the Moose," said CBS Sports Radio Director of Programming Eric Spitz. "As the host of an extremely successful podcast, Taz has done an amazing job of transitioning from a successful career as a professional wrestler into sports broadcasting. Moose has hosted two popular weekend shows on CBS Sports Radio since our launch five years ago. I know he is ready for this opportunity."
Senerchia is a multiple pro wrestling world heavyweight champion, TV color commentator and podcaster with more than three decades invested in both wrestling and broadcasting. Malusis kicked off his sports broadcasting career at Syracuse University's WAER-AM and WJPZ-FM. He previously served board operator and producer of WFAN/New York's "Mike and the Mad Dog" program, as well as an an overnight and fill-in host on WFAN.
