iHeartMedia Sacramento appoints Chris Matthews as Program Director and afternoon host for KBEB-FM (92.5 The Bull)/Sacramento, effective immediately. Matthews joins the Country outlet from KMLE-FM/Phoenix, where he served as Assistant Program Director, Music Director, morning host and afternoon host. He has also worked as Director of Marketing and Promotions for Cumulus Communications in Tucson.

"We were looking for a creative thinker to take ownership and grow the Bull brand," said Curtiss Johnson, Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Sacramento. "Someone who is a PD and entertainer with deep roots in the Country community. Chris Mathews is that guy. I have no doubt he will put 92.5 The Bull front and center in the minds of Sacramento Country fans."

"I am thrilled to get to work with the amazing team at iHeartMedia Sacramento," said Matthews. "There is a two ton buckin' Bull ready to dominate the Sacramento airwaves and I can't wait to open the chute!"
