Rox Radio Group Flips KFMD/North West AR to ''101.5 MYfm''

Rox Radio Group launches changes to recently acquired Classic Hits KFMD-FM/Fayetteville, AR (North West Arkansas). Previously branded as "Star 101.5" and playing a mix of seventies, eighties, and nineties, the outlet licensed to Greenland, AR will become known as "101.5 MYfm" and play a broad mix of Hot AC spanning pop and rock hits from the late nineties through current releases. It will position itself as a "More Music, More Variety" alternative.

Prior to the format change for KFMD, there were no locally-owned commercial radio stations playing contemporary hit music.
