Westwood One and Super Hi-Fi, a company focusing on AI-powered radio experiences for radio broadcasters and digital media platforms, have announced a partnership for Super Hi-Fi's AI-generated weather service, Weathercaster. Under the terms of the agreement, Westwood One will market and monetize Super Hi-Fi's Weathercaster service.

Weathercaster is an AI-powered audio-based weather report service for radio, with fully-automated production. It provides accurate, timely information while completely automating the content creation and audio production processes. Weathercaster saves radio companies significant time and money, and allows for incredibly high-quality localized weather reports to be included with every linear radio broadcast.

"We are always looking for game-changing technological innovations that deliver exceptional results for our affiliates and modernize the audio ecosystem" said Suzanne Grimes, President, Westwood One and EVP Corporate Marketing, Cumulus Media. "Our Super Hi-Fi partnership allows us to offer our radio affiliates the highest quality weather reports for their listeners with minimal effort and maximum value."

Utilizing Super Hi-Fi's patented MagicStitch AI production technology, Weathercaster incorporates incredibly realistic synthetic voices, integrated sponsorships, format-specific music beds, custom station IDs and artful production, resulting in mixed and captivating weather reports that inform and engage listeners throughout the day.

"With Westwood One's scale and Super Hi-Fi's AI-powered innovation, we're making it easier than ever to help radio transform into a digital future that offers material growth opportunities using the power of AI," said Super Hi-Fi Chief Business Officer John Bolton.
