PodcastOne is set to debut a new comedy podcast, Zero Stars, on October 21. The show will be hosted by comedian, actor and director Bobcat Goldthwait, alongside Academy Award-nominated producer Sean McKittrick ("Get Out," "Donnie Darko," "BlacKkKlansman"). Zero Stars will offer listeners a unique comedic twist as each episode features Goldthwait, McKittrick, and their celebrity guests critically critiquing the critics themselves.

Actors, musicians, comedians, and even chefs will have the chance to address some of the harshest reviews they've received, discussing the impact of these critiques on their work and careers. Upcoming guests include director Eli Roth, producer and chef Eddie Huang, and actors Michael McKean and Tom Lennon.

PodcastOne President Kit Gray expressed enthusiasm for the new show, saying, "Zero Stars gives an unparalleled perspective on how reviews -- whether glowing or scathing -- affect artists. Bobcat and Sean walk us through the highs and lows of critical feedback that can make or break a project."

Goldthwait, a veteran of the entertainment industry since his first appearance on the David Letterman Show at age 20, has built a diverse career as a writer, director, actor, and comedian. Known for his roles in "Scrooged" and the "Police Academy" films, Goldthwait has also gained acclaim as a director, helming works like "World's Greatest Dad" and "God Bless America" as well as TV shows such as "Misfits" and "Monsters" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

McKittrick, known for producing acclaimed films like "Get Out" and "BlacKkKlansman," brings his experience in bold storytelling to Zero Stars. As a producer, McKittrick has been recognized with multiple awards, including Academy Awards and BAFTAs. He began his career producing the cult classic "Donnie Darko" at age 24, cementing his place as a significant figure in the film industry.

Zero Stars promises to blend humor with insights into how criticism shapes creative industries, offering a fresh and entertaining look at the often contentious relationship between artists and their critics.
