NRG Media promotes Alyssa Siebken, known on air as HBIC, "Head Biscuit In Charge," to Assistant Program Director at Urban KOPW (Power 106.9) in Omaha. Siebken, a veteran personality and a familiar voice on the Omaha airwaves, steps into her new role after a successful stint hosting "Chef West And The Morning Scramble" alongside Tay Westberry since April, 2019.

Siebken's journey in the music and broadcasting industry is marked by notable achievements, including her participation in the 13th season of "American Idol" in 2014. Following her appearance on the national stage, she continued to engage with her musical roots in Omaha, performing across the metro area and opening for well-known artists such as Ben Rector and Jake Miller.

Reflecting on her promotion, Siebken expressed enthusiasm about her new responsibilities, "I am beyond excited to step into the role of APD at Power 106.9! This station has been my home for years, and I'm so grateful for the opportunity to continue growing with our amazing team. Power 106.9 has always been about connecting with our listeners, celebrating the culture, and bringing the best vibes to Omaha. I can't wait to keep that energy going, take things to the next level, and prove that biscuits really can rise."

Steve King, Operations Manager for NRG Media, praised Siebken's contributions and her readiness for the new role, stating, "I'm excited to have the Head Biscuit in Charge finally in charge. Alyssa's passion for the business, knowledge of the format, strategic mind, and complete dedication to the station and to the team made it an easy decision to promote her to lead the charge for Power 106.9. Simply put, there is no one better for the job... and now I can call her the HBICAPD."
