Steel City Media has announced a trio of leadership appointments in Kansas City. Veteran broadcaster Dale Carter has been named Program Director of Country KBEQ (Q104), adding to his longstanding role as Program Director and morning host at sister KFKF 94.1, where he has served since 1995.
"Dale's unparalleled experience and passion for country music have been instrumental in KFKF's success," said Marc Harrell, Market Manager for Steel City Media Kansas City. "We are excited to have his leadership extended to Q104."
Steve Serrano has been promoted to Operations Manager for Steel City Media Kansas City, where he will now oversee programming across the company's station portfolio. Serrano started his career with Steel City Media in 2008 as an intern and climbed the ranks to become Program Director and On-Air Personality at KMXV (Mix 93.3).
The company also announced Cherie Ramirez as its new Director of Sales. Ramirez joined Steel City Media in 2004 and has since held various roles across spot sales, digital, non-traditional revenue (NTR), and out-of-home (OOH) advertising.
"Cherie's extensive experience and deep understanding of our market dynamics make her the ideal choice to lead our sales team," Harrell added. "Her strategic vision will be instrumental in driving revenue growth and client satisfaction."
