Audacy is set to debut Sound Space @ Audacy Detroit on Wednesday, May 14, with a grand opening celebration at the Hockeytown Cafe in downtown Detroit. Located on the venue's second floor, the new studio space will be officially unveiled during a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring 99.5 WYCD hosts and ACM's 2025 On-Air Personality of the Year winners Josh Holleman, Rachael Hunter, and Steve Grunwald. Country music stars Chris Lane and Redferrin will headline the event.

"Detroit, get ready to experience sound like never before," said Debbie Kenyon, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Audacy Detroit. "Our new downtown Sound Space offers free, intimate local and national performances, top-of-the-line equipment and educational opportunities. We're excited to use this space as a place to give back to this incredible community."

The studio is designed to bring a fresh energy to the Motor City, while preserving the historic character of the building it occupies. Located near major entertainment landmarks including Little Caesars Arena, The Fillmore Detroit, and the Fox Theatre, the new space will allow Audacy to host more artists for exclusive interviews and private performances.

Sound Space @ Audacy Detroit is a state-of-the-art venue dedicated to live music, artist engagement, and fan-focused experiences.
