Benztown has released two new episodes of its original podcast "Chachi Loves Everybody," hosted by Benztown President Dave "Chachi" Denes. The episodes feature in-depth conversations with two of the media industry's most respected leaders: Chris Forgy, President and CEO of Saga Communications, and Otto Padron, former President and CEO of Meruelo Media.

In the first episode, Forgy shares his decades-long radio journey and insights on leadership, brand integrity, and the evolving audio landscape. He discusses his early days growing up in Dayton, OH, visiting radio stations with his father, and how those experiences shaped his passion for the industry.

"Mentorship and authenticity are everything," Forgy says in the interview. "I try to lead by being unlike other CEOs-by being deliberate, purposeful, and debt-free."

Currently serving on the boards of the NAB, RAB, and Broadcasters Foundation of America, Forgy reflects on his transition from sales to management and his unexpected offer to lead Saga. He also offers thoughts on radio's role in today's digital environment and what lies ahead for the industry.

The second episode features Otto Padron, whose personal journey from Cuba to the battlefield and eventually to the helm of a major media company is as dramatic as it is inspiring. Padron details his family's escape from Cuba, his time as a Green Beret in Desert Storm, and how his military background informed his leadership in media.

Padron also recounts his time programming for Telemundo and Univision, the risks he took to innovate, and his deep affection for radio, including his role in saving the historic KDAY in Los Angeles.

"I've always believed in taking bold steps," Padron says. "That's how you create change -- in media, in business, and in life."

The Chachi Loves Everybody podcast continues to offer candid conversations with broadcasting's most influential voices. The new episodes with Forgy and Padron are available here.
