iHeartMedia Jacksonville has announced the return of its annual Sista Strut breast cancer awareness walk, now in its 10th year. The milestone event will take place on Saturday, September 27, at the Jacksonville Baseball Grounds at Vystar Ballpark. The rally begins at 8:30am, followed by the walk at 10am.

Sista Strut is a community-driven event that raises awareness about breast cancer's impact on African American women, honors survivors, and promotes early detection and prevention. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with fellow survivors, healthcare professionals, and advocacy organizations throughout the day.

"iHeartMedia Jacksonville is proud to sponsor and present Sista Strut as part of our ongoing commitment to our local community," said Paul Rogers, Market President of iHeartMedia Jacksonville. "By sharing stories and life experiences, we hope to continue to foster a sense of unity and empower all attendees to take an active role in their own breast health."

Sponsored by The Law Offices of Ron Sholes, P.A., Sista Strut registration is available through the websites of V101.5 and 93.3 The Beat. In celebration of the event's 10th anniversary, registration will be just $10 from Thursday, June 26 at 6pm through Friday, June 27 at 11:59pm. After that, the cost will be $20 for individuals and $25 for team members.

All registrants will receive an official Sista Strut t-shirt. Team participants will also receive a commemorative backpack and a team photo, which will be shared on the station websites.

Proceeds from the event will benefit local organizations focused on breast cancer research, education, and patient support, including the Sisters Network of Northeast Florida and the Pink Queen B Foundation.
