iHeartMedia and Audacy Ink Content Distribution Deal

iHeartMedia and Audacy have announced a new content distribution partnership that will make Audacy's full portfolio of more than 240 radio stations and time-shifted podcasts available on iHeartRadio, iHeartMedia's free digital audio platform.

The agreement, effective immediately, significantly broadens the reach of Audacy's brands across over 2,000 devices and 500 platforms, including smart speakers, in-car digital dashboards, tablets, smartphones, smart TVs, wearables, gaming consoles, and virtual assistants.

The partnership brings some of the most recognizable radio brands in the country to iHeartRadio, including:

  • Sports WFAN-FM & AM in New York

  • All News 1010 WINS and WINS-FM in New York

  • Music stations such as KROQ-FM in Los Angeles and WXRT-FM (93XRT) in Chicago

"This is an exciting day for our industry as the addition of Audacy's stations to iHeartRadio maximizes radio's presence across the country as the most listened to and trusted medium for audiences and consumers," said Michael Biondo, President of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at iHeartMedia. "This move gives our listeners even more opportunities to connect with the stations and content most relevant to them, aligning with our mission to always meet our audiences where they are and enhance their experience."

Chris Oliviero, Chief Business Officer at Audacy, added, "We believe in the power of being everywhere, and this partnership is a meaningful step in our strategy to ensure our iconic stations, talent and programming are available wherever and however audio is consumed."
