L&O: Criminal Justice System Podcast to Return

iHeartPodcasts, Universal Television, and Wolf Entertainment have announced the return of their unscripted true-crime podcast series Law & Order: Criminal Justice System. The 10-episode second season will debut with its first two episodes on Thursday, August 21, followed by weekly releases. The season two trailer is now available on the iHeartRadio app and other major podcast platforms, where listeners can also access the complete first season.

Hosted by former Brooklyn homicide prosecutor Anna-Sigga Nicolazzi, the new season examines the events surrounding the creation of the Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF). The story begins in December 1975, when a bombing in the TWA baggage claim area at New York City's LaGuardia Airport killed 11 people and injured more than 70. The attack marked a turning point in U.S. counter-terrorism efforts, prompting the formation of the JTTF and reshaping how authorities approached both domestic and international threats.

Executive Producer Elliot Wolf said the series continues to expand the Law & Order brand in audio by telling impactful stories from the criminal justice system. "It's been a pleasure working with iHeart, UTV, and Anna-Sigga Nicolazzi, who share our vision of delivering an exceptional storytelling experience with audio," Wolf said.

Will Pearson, President of iHeartPodcasts, called the show a "fan favorite" and said season two will take listeners deeper into cases that shaped modern law enforcement.

Law & Order television dramas have been produced by Universal Television for NBC for more than 25 years, with Law & Order: Special Victims Unit now in its 27th season and Law & Order in its 25th. Season two of Law & Order: Criminal Justice System will be distributed by iHeartPodcasts and available on the iHeartRadio app and all major podcast platforms.
