Audacy/Houston names Chris Huff as Assistant Brand Manager for KKHH-FM (95.7 The Spot), KHMX-FM (Mix 96.5) and KILT-FM (100.3 The Bull). Huff is a veteran Country programmer spending more than two decades with stations in Knoxville, Chattanooga, Greensboro, Dallas and Houston. His teams have earned ACM's Major Market Station of the Year award twice, including a 2020 win with KILT-FM. He was inducted into the Texas Radio Hall of Fame in 2023.
"I didn't think anything could convince me to leave Country Aircheck, then Bruce Logan called," Huff said. "This is truly a tremendous opportunity to return to radio with the staff and stations that have been such an integral part of my career."
"We are building a world-class team at Audacy Houston and Chris brings an enormous amount of experience and knowledge about country music in Texas," said Bruce Logan, Operations Manager, Audacy Houston. "As the original architects of The Spot, I am thrilled to reunite with him. With Chris collaborating with JR Ammons on Mix 96.5, we have a team that is built for success."
Huff will support programming strategy and brand execution across 95.7 The Spot's Adult Hits format, Mix 96.5's Hot AC lineup and 100.3 The Bull's Country brand.
