United Stations Names Ken Prehl Affiliate Sales Director

United Stations has appointed Ken Prehl as Director of Affiliate Sales & Special Projects, expanding its leadership team as the company looks to grow its affiliate and product portfolio. In the newly created role, Prehl will oversee affiliate sales and relations, including client partnerships and affiliate engagement, while collaborating on product strategy and development.

His responsibilities also include supporting the expansion of United Stations' key brands such as Boomsite.fm, Phantom Producer, Reuters, and AccuWeather, with an emphasis on scalable, revenue-generating offerings -- particularly in weather services -- for broadcasters and advertisers.

Prehl joins United Stations after more than 20 years at AccuWeather, where he most recently served as Director, Audio Services. Over the course of his tenure, he advanced from a broadcaster role to leading the company's radio division, gaining experience in station operations, affiliate support, and product development.

"Ken and I worked closely together for more than a decade while he served in senior leadership at AccuWeather, and I have the utmost confidence in his professionalism, leadership, and commitment to our vision," said Stefan Jones, President of United Stations. "He is uniquely qualified to lead our affiliate relations efforts and help drive growth across our expanding product portfolio."

Prehl said he is looking forward to contributing to the company's next phase of growth, citing United Stations' direction and leadership as key factors in his decision to join the organization.
