Don Boyd Expands Cumulus Regional Leadership

Cumulus Media has promoted Don Boyd to Regional Vice President, expanding his leadership responsibilities to include the company's radio operations in Baton Rouge, Lafayette and New Orleans, Louisiana, as well as Columbus-Starkville, MS.
Boyd will continue overseeing Cumulus in Mobile, AL while adding responsibility for the four additional clusters. He most recently served as Regional Vice President/Market Manager for Mobile, Fort Walton Beach and Pensacola since 2023.
A 25-year Cumulus veteran, Boyd joined the company in 2001 as General Sales Manager in Nashville. He later served as Vice President of Advertising for Dickey Publishing before returning to Cumulus as General Sales Manager in Atlanta in 2014. In 2018, he was named Vice President/Market Manager for Mobile, and five years later was elevated to Regional Vice President with oversight of the Mobile, Fort Walton Beach and Pensacola markets.

Boyd said he looks forward to relocating to Baton Rouge and working across the expanded territory. "We've got top-performing radio stations, strong digital capabilities, and a great team in place," Boyd said. "Looking forward to relocating to Baton Rouge and getting to work across these markets."
Under Boyd's expanded leadership, Cumulus will oversee clusters totaling 17 stations across Baton Rouge, Lafayette, New Orleans, Columbus-Starkville and Mobile, spanning a variety of formats including Country, Urban, CHR, Sports, Gospel, Alternative and Classic Hits.
