John Cook Exits KKSN and WDAF/Kansas City as PD


After only 6 months in the position, John Cook is exiting as PD of Hot AC KKSN-FM (99-7 Kiss FM) and Country WDAF-FM (106.5 The Wolf)/Kansas City. He is leaving in order to return to Philadelphia for personal reasons. Cook, a 22-year veteran programmer, previously served as Program Director of Active Rock WYSP-FM/Philadelphia.

Prior to Philadelphia, Cook was OM for KPLX-FM (99.5 The Wolf) and Classic Rock KDBN-FM/Dallas, where he was also PD of KPLX. Before joining Dallas duo in March, 2005, he was OM of CBS Radio's two outlets in San Antonio.
