Talentmasters Dedicates TSBC to Andrew Ashwood

Talentmasters President Don Anthony, host of Morning Show Boot Camp and presenter of the first annual Talk Show Boot Camp on November 14, has announced a special dedication to former head of programming of Fox Sports Radio, Andrew Ashwood (pictured). He passed away last year. The "Ashwood Award" will be presented to an individual who has made a positive impact in the radio industry by discovering and mentoring talent.

Anthony says, "Andrew was a great friend for 30 years. He always believed in talent and was a great mentor to many. For years, he encouraged me to extend our boot camp concept to the talk community, so it seems only appropriate to honor him in this way. There will never be another Andrew, but hopefully through this award, his legacy will carry on forever."

The first annual Talk Show Bootcamp will take place November 14 in Atlanta. Special guests participating in the event include Neal Boortz, Phil Hendrie, Todd Schnitt, Rusty Humphries, Gabe Hobbs, Brian Jennings, Greg Moceri, Kipper McGee, Phil Boyce, Al Peterson, Michael Harrison, Perry Michael Simon, among many others.
