Clear Channel/St. Louis Market Manager Beth Davis announced Friday that Urban KATZ-FM will "thrill Halloween revelers" as "Halloween 100.3" ahead of a format flip due after the holidays. Stunting began with Michael Jackson's "Thriller." The station's entire air staff is out along with PD Taylor J (aka Jill Testerman). Talyor also served as PD of co-owned CHR KSLZ-FM (Z107.7).
Fans of "The Beat" can continue to listen to the Urban format at 100.3thebeat.com and on its 100.3 HD-2 channel.
Davis said, "We are excited about continuing to make The Beat available to listeners online and on HD Radio... We invite St. Louis listeners to tune in to see what we have in store for them and we know they'll love what they hear."
Cluster OM Mark Anderson will oversee both stations during the interim.
