The New York Yankees will continue to be heard on WCBS-AM for the 2012 next season. The team also retains an option to extend the agreement for another season beyond 2012. Both parties apparently intend to continue discussions about a long-term partnership. Announcers John Sterling and Suzyn Waldman are expected to return to their respective duties in the radio booth. WCBS 880 has been the Yankees' flagship station since 2002.
