Dustin "HaZe" Monroe has signed an extension with iHeartMedia, securing his role as Assistant Program Director and air personality for KSLZ-FM (Z1077) and ALT Radio through 2029.
Monroe shared the news on social media, writing, "I can't thank our market president, Libby Kochan-Nolan, and everyone behind the scenes enough for believing in me and continuing to let me do what I love every day on Z1077, ALT Radio, and all the other amazing stations I get to be a part of with iHeart. Twenty-five years in and I still wake up grateful that this is my career. The listeners, the team, the city-I wouldn't want to be anywhere else."
Monroe joined iHeartMedia in May, 2024 after previous stints in Kansas, Texas, and Virginia, making a return to St. Louis where he had worked earlier in his career. A graduate of the American Broadcasting School in Dallas, he has also been heard at stations including CHR WDZH-FM (98.7 AMP Radio) Detroit, where he handled nights from 7pm to midnight on weekdays.
Reflecting on his longevity in radio, Monroe added, "Twenty-five years in and I still wake up grateful that this is my career. The listeners, the team, the city-I wouldn't want to be anywhere else."
