Beasley Media Group inks a new syndication deal with Flinn Broadcasting that brings The Maney & LauRen Morning Show to WHBQ-FM (Q1075) in Memphis, effective Wednesday, October 8. Originating from flagship station WNKS-FM (KISS 95.1) in Charlotte, the morning program currently airs in Charlotte, Augusta, and Fayetteville, with Memphis becoming the show's fourth market.
"We're thrilled to expand the footprint of The Maney & LauRen Morning Show with this new partnership in Memphis," said Beasley Media Group Chief Content Officer Justin Chase. "The show has become a proven ratings driver and brand-builder in multiple markets, and we're confident it will quickly become a favorite among WHBQ listeners."
Chris Taylor, Operations Manager for Flinn Broadcasting Memphis, said the decision was an easy one. "Maney was very successful here before his move a couple years ago. He and LauRen have great chemistry and are fun to listen to. It's a perfect fit for us," he said.
Maney expressed excitement about returning to the city. "Memphis has a lot of history for me - my wife and I met there and got married at the Peabody Hotel," he said. LauRen added, "Thanks to Beasley for allowing our show to continue to grow. I'm excited to bring lots of laughs to Q1075 in Memphis."
