Beasley Media Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Lauren Burrows Coleman is resigning from the company, less than a year after assuming the role. The move was disclosed in a Thursday filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
According to the filing, Burrows Coleman's departure, effective October 17, "was not due to any disagreement with the company on any matter relating to its operations, policies, or practices." She plans to pursue other opportunities.
Beasley CEO Caroline Beasley will serve as the company's principal financial officer on an interim basis, while Vice President of Financial Reporting Shaun Greening will become principal accounting officer, both effective October 17.
Beasley Media Group also announced the promotion of Greening as part of the company's ongoing commitment to strong financial leadership. Greening, who originally joined Beasley in 2000 and has been serving as Vice President of Financial Reporting, has been promoted to Chief Accounting Officer.
Prior to joining the company, Greening was an Audit Manager with KPMG. In his expanded role, he will lead Beasley's accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance initiatives, ensuring the continued strength and integrity of the company's financial foundation.
He will work alongside John Coury, who was recently promoted to Corporate Controller and Director of Treasury. Coury now oversees the company's accounts receivable, accounts payable, and traffic operations - all key elements of Beasley's cash management and financial strategy.
"Shaun brings extensive experience, deep institutional knowledge, and a proven track record of success to his role," said Beasley Media Group Chief Executive Officer Caroline Beasley. "Together with John, their leadership will be instrumental in supporting our continued growth and long-term success."
Burrows Coleman joined Beasley in November 2024, succeeding longtime CFO Marie Tedesco, who retired after 33 years with the company. Before joining Beasley, she served as Global Head of Strategic Corporate and Commercial Finance at Wayfair, leading teams across financial planning, capital markets, and corporate development. Her prior experience includes positions with WindSail Capital Group, Wind Point Partners, and GE Capital, as well as investment banking at Lehman Brothers.
