Meruelo Media's Classic Hip Hop 93.5 KDAY in Los Angeles is adding a new nightly staple to its lineup with the launch of "Slow Jams With R Dub!" beginning Monday, December 1. The show will air Monday through Thursday from 10pm to midnight.

"R Dub! makes a personal connection with listeners," said Pio Ferro, Senior Vice President of Programming and Content for Meruelo Media in Los Angeles. "His show features the best slow jams, along with his popular segment, 'Oral Expressions,' which will create destination listening with Slow Jams With R Dub! on 93.5 KDAY."

For R Dub!, the new partnership marks a full-circle moment. "I grew up in Los Angeles, so getting the chance to bring Slow Jams to 93.5 KDAY and to speak to this city night after night isn't something I take lightly. I'm truly grateful."

Benztown Affiliate Sales executive Mark Wilson added that the move is a natural fit. "This industry would be hard-pressed to find a more suitable radio marriage than 93.5 KDAY and Slow Jams With R Dub! These two partners are synonymous with California culture and will generate strong ratings and revenue for years to come."

"Slow Jams" programming is now heard on more than 200 stations across the U.S. and internationally, in major markets including Baltimore, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, Nashville, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Portland, San Francisco, and West Palm Beach.
