Cumulus Flips Sports WHLD-AM/Buffalo to ''Talk 1270''

Cumulus Media has launched Western New York's newest talk station, "Talk 1270" on WHLD-AM/Buffalo. The station, licensed to Niagara Falls, NY, moved from its previous Sports/Talk programming and former name, "The Fan -- SportsRadio 1270," to its new News/Talk format and "Talk 1270" brand on Monday, May 24.

Cumulus Buffalo VP/Market Manager Jim Riley said, "We're very excited to launch Talk 1270 this week in Buffalo as Dan Bongino launches his national radio show. Western New Yorkers can now enjoy daily radio shows on Talk 1270 from two of the most listened-to podcasters in America, Ben Shapiro and Dan Bongino, as well as other marquee talk radio favorites."
